We are really proud of all our sausages at Albert Matthews but none so more than our Originals. Using Albert Matthews’ original recipe which is over 73 years old, prime shoulder of Saddleback or Gloucester Old Spot,rare breed pork is ground and mixed with our own secret blend of herbs and spices. The sausage have won numerous regional and national awards including gold stars at the Great Taste Awards in 2007, 2010 and 2011. It is also the most popular sausage in our shop. This version of Albert’s Originals is a chipolata meaning it is in thinner natural casings which is ideal for childrens meals and breakfasts.
