The national sausage of South Africa and if you’ve been over there they are rightly absolutely obsessed about it, in fact the South Africans are obsessed with all meat and barbecuing in general so we tip our hat to you fellow meat lovers! We make our Boerewors using our finest, grass fed beef chuck and pork which is minced and mixed with vinegar and an authentic mix of ground South African spices. We’re pretty sure we’ve got an authentic product as we regularly get South Africans visiting the shop to buy them.
The sausage is supplied in one link ( a bit like a cumberland whirl) the best way to cook it is on the barbecue then cut into sections and serve.
